The rapid development of the domestic laden vehicle market, heavy duty vehicle is an important tendency of laden vehicle. However, with increasing of laden vehicle, security issues are arising from increasingly attracting attention, the braking system is one of important system of active safety. Therefore, how to design a high-performance braking system, to provide protection for safe driving is the main problem we must solve. In addition, with increasing competition of heavy duty vehicle market, how to shorten the product development cycle, to improve design efficiency and to lower costs, to improve the market competitiveness of products, and has become a key to success of enterprises. In the second chapter, introduced the braking system types, brakes structural patterns, then in the third chapter, detailed analysis of the braking performance of vehicles, braking performance evaluation, constant effect of braking performance, and theoretical analysis of axle-braking distribution and the stability, also explore how to make the actual distribution curve close to the ideal distribution curve. In the forth chapter, mainly introduced how to develop the design and analysis software of the braking system, and detailed introduced each module structure and function. Because this software which developed based on the MATLAB platform and its GUI toolbox, the faceplate is friendly, give engineer a great many convenience and do entirely developable process much more criterion. In the fifth chapter, give an applying this software example of the performance simulation of the braking system to be superior.Through this thesis elementary research, bring forward a new method of the braking system designed, establish a further research foundation. But the thesis is still comparatively superficial, and exist a lot of no-perfect parts for the sake of time, condition and capability.
