Reactive power optimization is an effective measure to improve the voltage profileand reduce the transmission loss, and one of the most important control methods toensure power system operation securely and economically, so research for the reactivepower optimization algorithm is important. This paper thoroughly have studied thereactive power optimization algorithm, according to the case of algorithm research, thehybrid intelligent algorithm is advised which gets the mutative scale chaos algorithm andthe immune genetic algorithm together, this algorithm has solved the problem of gettinginto the local optimal solution and slow convergence speed for immune geneticalgorithm. The hybrid intelligent algorithm is applied to the IEEE 30-bus system and theBameng power network, the computing results prove that the method of reactive poweroptimization based on mix aptitude algorithm in this paper is effective, and possesses theexcellent the value in theory and practice.
