The Influence To The Transimission Efficiency Of Oil Temperatur Of Torque Converter

Along with the development of China automobile industry, as well as the energy question is prominent, there is a requirements to the automobile performance. Torque Converter, widely used among the mechanism of transmitting, is one of the most important parts of the automatic transmission;therefore, it is very important to promote hydraulic torque converter efficiency. It directly influences the economic performance. The oil whose parameter will directly affect the transmission efficiency of torque converter is the most important medium and the temperature whose change will affect other parameters is the most parameter of the oil. Therefore, we studied the influence which is produced to the transmission efficiency by the change of the oil temperature. Therefore, under the precondition of ensuring operating performance, it has the vital significance to enhance transmission efficiency of the torque converter.We survey the input and output rotational speed and torque of the converter through the method of changing the entrance temperature of the oil, thus obtains the transmission efficiency of the converter. We analysis influences arose by changes of the oil temperature to the transmission efficiency. In the process of analyzing ,changes of the oil temperature may affect the viscosity , The viscosity's reduces cause the oil's lubricity to reduce, therefore we needs to look for a balance point between the efficiency and the lubricity then we can both ensure the high transmission efficiency and the good lubricity and reduce the attrition. This also is one of questions which this article needs to solve. This article also proposed some methods to enhance the transmission efficiency aiming at the system the radiation.According to the important project and technology "The Research and Development of the Essential Technology of Automobile Electrically Controlled Hydraulic", we completed the design and verification of the experimented platform and assembled it, and have designed and developed a experimental system which take labor controlling machine as the core .The test method introduced by this article is using computer to gather the data automatically and to control the test equipment, after computer software processing, test results are demonstrated or preserved on the computer. The present paper put its emphasis on explaining the test system hardware composition and the experimental procedure, as well as oil supply system and oil temperature control system. It introduced the distribution of the oil temperature test point, as well as each part function of the oil temperature control system.In the article, we also analysis the major loss in transmission and the system's energy balance expressed the mechanism that the temperature changes affect the transmission efficiency.
