With the development of science and technology, it needs more and more bidirectional DC converters ever year gradually. Bidirectional converters are used widely in DC uninterruptible power systems, aviation power systems, electric vehicle power, DC power amplifier and batter storage systems. Soft switch techniques push bidirectional converter developing in smaller volume, higher efficiency and higher frequency.Principle and application of bidirectional DC converter are introduced from fundamental bidirectional switch cell. A novel bidirectional DC converter topology was designed, which was used in vehicle power supply systems. Using phase-shifted full-bridge ZVS PWM in buck circuit and using push-pull boost converter in boost circuit.In the dissertation, principles of phase-shifted full-bridge ZVS PWM and push-pull boost converter are analyzed;Reason of duty ratio dropping out and solution measures are introduced at the same time;The magnetic biasing and ZVS methods of Lagging brachium are studied detailedly in the bidirectional DC converters. At the basis of analysis and simulation, the prototype was excogitated, which data satisfied designed needs.
