Soft clay ground has six distinct characteristics, namely as, high moisture content, high void ratio, high compressibility, low intensity, low permeability and low consolidation factor. Soft clay ground, as natural ground, needs to be reinforced by pilling, while the force analysis of Navigation Lock Structure on composite foundation with rigid pile still remains unsolved in navigation lock design.This dissertation, through the practice of the navigation lock project in Ningbo Yaojiang, has set up the integrated 3-D numerical model of pile-soil-structure in consideration of the actual geological conditions. By using APDL in the light of ANSYS, the nonlinear finite element method program for 3-D static analysis of pile-soil structure is developed in this dissertation. The E-B model of Duncan-Chang' model is applied to the nonlinear analysis and the double-hinged plate navigation lock chamber structure on the on rigid-pile composite foundation is also calculated here.According to the results, this paper detailed analyzed the characteristics of the double-hinged plate Navigation chamber on the rigid-pile composite foundation in different conditions. The characteristics of embody foundation settlement, foundation reaction, soil pressure behind the wall, structure's displacement and stresses, horizontal stress and vertical stress are also analyzed in detail here. So we can draw some conclusions which can guide us the calculation of the Lock chamber that on the rigid-pile composite foundation and the choice of different conditions.
