The Impaction Of Indigenous Plant On Green Space In Cityscape Constitution

The Indigenous plant, which is ecologically adaptable and easy to maintain, is among the important material elements in urban landscape. The plant show the characteristics of native vegetation, also cultural connotation. The plant does essential significance in creating ecological landscape and humanity landscape. Although promoting application of indigenous plant has been realized necessarily for a long time in Green Space construction, the difficult lies in many practical situation . The study focus on the application method of indigenous plant in Green Space construction of cityscape.Focusing on the view of Green Space in cityscape, combining the conception of indigenous plant which is araised by available research, the study expand the conception and its conotaction which is more convenient and clear in practical application of indigenous plant.By analyzing the indigenous plant and several associated problems, the discussion of application is done in landscape management. On the basis of analyzing the original sources of the indigenous plant culture, by a series of site investigation and research, the study classify the local tree which is widely, commonly, seldom as well as not yet applicated in Xi'an. Then the causes were traced and the final decision will provide the basis for Green space of cityscape in Xi'an.Refering to "Master plan of Xi'an 2004 to 2020" and according to the spot investigation, the study analyze the pattern of Green space in Xi'an, then applicate city space theory as line between two points and surface, finally desive the application of indigenous plant in green space system in the city of Xi'an to construct plant landscape which is full of local characteristic.Middle axis of the city and North Square of Bigoda. are choosed as typical cases. The present problem which appear in the case is analysed, and try to rebuild the plant landscape by application of indigenous plant management.The case study will provide reference for landscape arrangement by application of indigenous plant in Green Space of Xi'an.
