The magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets may change the coupled coefficient of MRCW under the control systems so that vehicle dynamics performance could gradually keep best ever and again. Some researches about coupled wheelsets have been carried through abroad, however in homeland the research about coupled wheelsets is at the preliminary stage, the emphasis on the coupled wheelsets are theory research and dynamics simulation, but turning to the control system and experimental study of coupled wheelsets are not many. Actually the control of the the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets is the project question which is worth paying attention to, because the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets displays its superiority only under control system, papar will turn to discuss the control system and experimental plan of the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets.The paper first analyzed the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets working principle, according to its working principle established the equivalent mathematical model and differential equation of the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets;inferred the relations between coupled moment and controlling current;choose the control method of the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets;designed the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets turn to controller, established the state space model of controlling current, completed to this controller simulation. Secondly using the testing method calculates the optimal matching law of coupled coefficient for leading and trailing wheelsets through the procedure simulation while coupled-wheelsets vehicle pass different radius curve;the optimal matching law of coupled coefficient for leading and trailing wheelsets has been found when a vehicle negotiates all kinds of radius semidiameter curve;meanwhile relations between current and coupled coefficient have been found., and under the control system simulation was done while coupled-wheelsets vehicle. Finally the thesis has introduced the performance experimental plan of the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets, produced the testing method of coupled moment and worm strength of vertical and horizontal aspect.Undergo the simulation analysis, the control plan which designed can satisfy the request, the control system work is normal, the control method is feasible. Moreover before the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets apply to actual railway, the exertion of its superiority needs the support of relevant test, but in the paper the performance experimental plan of the magneto-rheological coupled wheelsets rightly provided the theory basis and bedding to the performance experimental plan for the next step of research.
