The visualization design and computer simulation on the underground powerhouse is one of the most important technologies of simulation. In this thesis, the central aim is to construct three-dimensional numeric underground powerhouse and realize the quick design and assemble of piping, cable and equipment. Based on the flat roof of CATIA, this thesis has realized the visualization design of underground powerhouse, accomplished the numeric modeling of the underground powerhouse, and constructed the system of visualization design and excavation simulation by secondary development.1. Based on parameters design of CATIA and the underground powerhouse design requirements, uising parameter technology and feature modeling, the knowledge of the design progresss is converted to visual parameters and the section storeroom and feature storeroom are established.2. Using component technology and according to the design progress of the represatitive components of the underground powerhouse, the user-defined features are constructed.3. Aiming at the character of compressed pipe, vent-pipe, cable and so on, the user defined features about automatic distribution are constructed the Statistic of material bill is realized.4. Because the construction of underground powerhouse and it can not be described in mathematics model, the dummy body is put forward;feature modeling is used to predigest the word of modeling and the storage of data;the dummy body modeling technology is combined with the management of the attribute information based on dummy body;the system including the optimization of construction and the visual simulation is constructed.5. Based on these studies and considering the relationship of plant systems space, the layout of equipment is done and optimized and the system is developed.
