As a perfect vehicle on land, maglev train is characterized by high velocity, small energy consuming, low noise, safety and comfort, and it has been successfully put into practice. Due to the inherent nonlinearities and instability of the electromagnetic suspension system, suspension control is key point. So it is needed active control in order to keep steady suspension.In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic mathematic model of single magnetic levitation system(SMLS) is set up, and linearized at the equilibrium point. Then the linear model of magnetic suspension system and the state function of the system is getted. On the basis of the controllablity and observability, the several kinds of controller including linear states feedback controller, PID controller, fuzzy controller and fuzzy-PID controller are designed. At last the simulations are made for the controllers, and compared features and performance of each controller.After the theory analysis of the magnetic suspension system, the digital controller is adopted to keep suspension control. The controller is designed with the digital signal processor(DSP)-TMS320F2812. Its functions include signal sampling, signal processing based on control arithmetic and outputting the result, etc. The experiment results show that the digital controller could keep the SMLS stable suspension and have a good performance in anti-disturbtion.
