Pre-stressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge, constructed through balanced cantilever, are the most widely used structure in recent bridges. In the process of construction, cantilever beam is changing continuously. In order to ensure the bridge linearity and stress can accord with design, flexibility deformation and force has to be monitored. So the simulation analysis of the overall structure of the bridge at the various construction stages is very important.In this paper, the content and the method of construction control of long span bridge is introduced first, followed by several theories of simulating the construction process, Such as backward analysis, forward analysis, Unite application of backward analysis and forward analysis, and forward analysis based on iteration theory. If the forward analysis method is used in the simulation, it will Accord with people's thinking habit. And if we use the forward analysis based on iteration theory in advanced, precision of calculation will be content with the project requiring through revising properly the initial elevation in the theory model.The simulation analysis of the overall structure of the bridge at the various construction stages is conducted with MIDAS/Civil, Considering concrete creep and shrinkage, system transformation and construction ballasting. Comparing the results of MIDAS/Civil, GQJS and actual measurement record, the basis of construction control is offered. Then, by using the visible function which MIDAS/Civil provides, the animation of the entire construction process, the displacement changes and the stress variation in all construction stages is demonstrated According to the computed result. The animation of the displacement changes and the stress variation causing by the concrete placement, the tendon jaking and the form traveller moving in some construction stage is also produced especially.On above-mentioned foundations of working, Wind-resistant behavior under construction and P-A effect of the pier in the maximum cantilever state is analyzed. The result shows that adopting the fitful wind load to research Wind-resistant behavior under construction is rational. The lateral displace of pier will be increased because of the P-A effect, but the influence is small.
