With the implementation of the develop-the-west strategy, the question of the slope hazard often unavoidably occurs in the mountainous area during the construction of the infrastructure , such as railway , highway , water conservancy, etc.The problem is very serious in the westen mountainous area because the highway with wide subgrade passed a long distance. Yuan-mo highway lies in the western mountainous region of the Yunan Province. The condition of topograph and geology along the highway is complicated and diversiform; The rock is broken and The groundwater is abundant. A large number of side slope harzard has taken place during construction. In order to prevent and control slope harzard ,A large number of money was spend. As a result of slope harzard alone the Whole road, the project —" research of technology of prevention and control slope harzard along yuan-mo highway during construction " was launched with emphasis on the systematic research of mechanism, the distribution alone the road , the technology of prevention and control of slope harzard and the management after construction and was listed as the scientific and technological key project of Yunnan Province in 2001. The application study of trellis beams with prestressed anchors is an important component in the project. The structure of trellis beams with prestressed anchors was studied through investigation and analysis,numerical calculation,field-test in this paper ,The content of this paper as follow: (1) Through investigation into completed trellis beams with prestressed anchors for the control of slope hazard ,This paper summarized past application experience and summarized the suitable applied conditions of the structure. (2) considering for the shortcoming of calculation of structural design of trellis beams with prestressed anchors at present, based on model of beam on elastic foundation and used finite differential mothod, the formula of calculation was derived, the corresponding computer program was worked out which make it more convenient to calculate the internal force of the concrete trellis beams. (3)With the application of the structure on a slope, this Paper introduce the design process of the structure in detail (4) Trellis beams with prestressed anchors was applied to strengthens unstable slopes and carried on the field test with it The test result was analysed. Compared the trellis beams internal force result tested in field with the result calculated by the program of this paper, the two results are identical basically, which have proved that the theory which be developed in this paper is exact. The anchor force loss was analysed, the field test result manifest that trellis beams with prestressed anchors have stable working performance. (5) Finally some suggestions on the design of the structure was Proposed according to above work .
