With the recognition of human to environment protection, the emissions regulation becomes more and more strict. In China the engine emission was required to meet the ERUO II in 2004 and is expected to reach ERUO III in 2008 and to in line with international emission requirement in 2010. Now only few types of domestic and import types diesel engine can get it. Especially to the diesel engine for agriculture, most of them are nature inspiration engine and their emission qualities are much worse. So the research of the emission control of the diesel engine is significant to develop diesel engine made in our country.In this paper, formation mechanism and the harm of emission of diesel engine are analyzed. Combining with the technology and methods of diesel emission control of diesel manufactures' company in the word, a all-around measure of emission control are discussed.Author takes a Y4100Q natural inspiration diesel engine as sample engine, and analyze the effect of injection law to emission. Injection law and spew pressure experiment are carried on a test bed. Through examining the parameters of fuel injection system to the fuel injection process of D.I. Diesel engine, fuel injection law for Y4100Q Diesel is found. A new-style combustion is designed according to the characteristic of airflow in cylinder and the demand of the formation of fuel-air mixture. Large numbers of contrast experimentation is carried on about the effect injection pump, nozzle and nozzle protruded height to emission. A optimization matching scheme is found for combustion chamber in order to reduce emissions. After treatment experiments are conducted with the particulate matter filter and NOx catalytic system developed by myself. Experimental process and results are introduced.From the profiles of interior purification and after treatment, methods of diesel emission control are discussed. Through analyzing results of a test bed, effect of every parameter on emissions, letterpress sums up an optimum matching scheme for this engine to different fuel injection system and combustion chamber. After treatment experiments are conducted to search after measures of emission control for this cheap agro-engine. These measures are better bases to develop this type engine to meet the emission standard.
