The slope is one of the three big problems of geo-technical engineering , which relates to the highway and bridge engineering, the hydraulic engineering , the constructional engineering and so on. So, the stability of slope has always been an important research topic in rock and soil engineering. Hence , this article' s background is the western important item of natural foundation " Great Roadway Engineering of Western Mountain and Environment Mutual Action mechanism " and " Xi Pan Highway Geology Disaster Research and Countermeasure " ; on the base of widely consulting on the national and abroad literature datum base ; investigating the slope on the Xi Pan highway; discussing some problem of the slope engineering on the Xi Pan highway Based on centrifugal model experiment , What it is to the slope whittles that the slope places the terrace fills the earth counter pressure the this two kinds of prevention and cure steps of engineering has been underway researching initially , main work and fruit as follows :(1) Based on the impersonal sum-up and comparison of all kinds of methods of analysis about slope stability at present, the current research is introduced and the developing trend is discussed in brief.(2)Summing up the centrifugal pattern technique' s fundamental rule error problem the application situation. And studying whittling the slope to place the terrace and filling the earth counter pressure with the centrifugal pattern technique, carrying on 4 times pair-comparisons testing, with numerical simulating cutting the slope in the distinct position by FLAC3D. Obtaining when synthesis considering the two factors that are the surface area of whittling slope and stability, the amount of cutting slope in the same situation, the terrace is near latent slip of the slope, which not only is able to lift the slope' s stability but also reduceturbulent the surface area of the slope, and making the engineering better harmonize against the environment .When filling earth counter pressure in the foot slope, the slope' s stability is better than cutting slope on the peak of slope.(3) Based on the field investigating the high slopes on the Xi Pan highway, using the professional geo-technical software "GEO-SLPOE" to evaluate the typical high slope' s stability. And drawing some conclusion, witch are Xegeda stratum has effect on the slope' s stability; the safety factor of temporary slope has consanguineous relation with the slope' s stability; The safety factor of temporary slope should be a guideline when establishs particular construction scheme.(4) Application FLAC3D imitation three kinds of prevention and cure steps that are retaining wall -. Combating slips the pile and anchor which have different effect on the fields of displacement and force.(5) Introducing engineering and environment among the slope of prevention and cure in home and abroad , moreover preliminary discussing the slope engineering' s green prevention technology on the Xi Pan highway.
