Based on the plan of NSFC, Research of Deformation Theory in Unsaturated soil slop and Slop Protection Technology of FRP helical plateanchor, applicated by Civil Engineering Department of Wuhan University,DR. WANG has developed FRP helical plate anchor, according to his experience in the recent years. By the aid of NSFC, ZHOU, previous master, has basically designed FRP helical plate anchor, and carried on the first step experiment.In this paper, numerical simulation, using software MSC.Marc, is applied for the pull-out tests of FRP helical plate anchor. By numerical modeling, author expects to obtain a series of designing parameters, and provide the reference for the designing of FRP helical plate anchor. Researches have been completed in this paper as follows:1.Introduce the classification of anchor, review anchoring theory and current calculation theories of anchor, look back the applied history of anchor, detailed introduce current applied research status and progress of test of FRP helical plate anchor, and at last, main job of this paper is advanced.2. Detailed introduce FEM theory and its application in geotechnical engineering, at the same time, generalizes simply the characteristics of Marc and its FEM theory.3.Based on a series of assumption, create the FEM model, and discuss mesh technology, stress-strain relations, interface contact and calculation methods.4.With analysis of interaction of FRP helical plate anchor and soil on condition of respective depth and plate radius, discuss the anchoringtheory and the circumstance of displacement and stress, and get relationship of pull-out load and displacement, then compare results with field experiment. In the end, prove the correctness of simulation results.5.The simulation data were processed on different sets; get a series of relationships of pull-out load and displacement and moment and shear stress of plate. Further more, obtain reasonable design parameters, and, at the same time, point out some problems in experiment.
