Concrete is one of the most important materials in the contemporary construction engineering, with the development of sience and technology, the materials of composing concrete has already been changed, common concrete is only composed of four ingredients: cement ,sand,stone and water, but the steel fiber concrete is a compound material that be composed of the short steel fiber,cement,sand,stone,water and necessary additive, which change the quality of concrete greatly.Although the structure function of the concrete has changed, the quantity accident still takes place continuously; the supervision and control of concrete become an important task of present structural engineering. Nondestructive evaluation, that is how to measure some propriety physics value directly on the framework or component but not to influence the quality of structure or component and deduce a series of strength, continuity, duration, etc. The ultrasonic detection of concrete is an important aspect of the nondestructive evaluation,because the ultrasonic velocity can reflect the consistency of concrete, the consistency is contact with strength, thus through the ultrasonic velocity can forecast the strength, the influence of ultrasonic detection of common concrete is many ,but the application of the steel fiber concrete is not much. This paper uses the contractions method, confects a series of C40 common concrete and steel fiber concrete, using ultrasonic analysis instrument , get the ultrasonic velocity of these two kinds of concrete, through the analysis of the experimental datas, the result indicates the relativity of the ultrasonic velocity and strength for steel fiber concrete is very well, therefore, this ultrasonic detection method used in steel fiber concrete is practical, among them, steel fiber rates and sand rates are the important factors that affect the ultrasonic velocity of concrete; At the same time, adding water reducer,slag and fly ash in the steel fiber concrete,can improved the placeability and consistency evidently,thus improve the strength of the concrete; At last,the curve of ultrasonic velocity and strength for steel fiber concrete is drawn up,the result indicates the multinomial equation is better,which can supply reference for checker of concrete by ultrasonic.
