The system integration is a special engineering activity, which is based on computer technology related, is relied on reliable productive tools, and can implement a certain function. Three Gorges cascade AGC information system is a sub module in the Hydropower Joint Scheduling Information System. And it is an information system of executing independently. Its main function includes the power scheduling, real-time monitoring, and the alarm for abnormal condition. The core implementing technology of Three Gorges cascade AGC information system is system integration technology. Base on function integration, network integration and interface integration, using the communication network of Hydropower Joint Scheduling Information System, the goal of AGC system integration is the share of information, resources and tasks and the function implementing of monitoring, controlling and management. During the process of developing Three Gorges Cascade AGC Information System, there is the different requirement based on different environment (the Unix system and Windows system), and both form the entire system function. This thesis include the practical scheme of the process of system integration, and it scheme out the canonical and standardized system integration proposal. There are some remarkable works related: 1) Putting forward three coupling application mode (code coupling mode,program coupling mode,component coupling mode) for practical engineering background when we are taking on the work of software system integration. 2) Accounting for the user interface and system architecture using Motif technology and figuring out the multi-tasks concurrence using multi-thread technology in Unix environment. 3) In Windows environment, establishing three modules by establishing class independently, which is the inner data integration is implementing by the data interface method; and implement the data interface integration based on Ado and COM technology. Finally, summarized the works we have done and prospected further study for future research.
