The best repair path of power distribution network focus on the research in currentnetwork analysis of geographic information system. At the same time, it is an important partof power distribution network management system. In this paper, basic ant colony algorithmis improved according to speciality of the best repair path of power distribution network andimproved ant colony algorithm is applied to actual system. The mathematic model of the bestrepair path of power distribution network is established which takes the shortest travel time asobject and the factors of influencing travel efficiency are considered in this model. Functionalmodule of the best repair path is realized associate with power distribution networkmanagement information system base on GIS for Puyang electric power bureau.Implementation result express that improved ant colony algorithm is beneficent in question ofthe best repair path of power distribution network.
