| Open-phase operation in large power unit is very harmful to generator and theoperation of power system. The study on open-phase operation and the analyses ofextracted fault information are of great value to the safety of generator and the operationof power system. In this thesis, the normal form of open-phase operation in large powerunit is analyzed in theory with the method of sym-metry-ponderance. The normal formof open-phase operation in large power unit is studied respectively by MATLABsimulation. Considering the state of open-phase and asynchronous operation in largepower unit, the magnetomotive force and harmonic current of stator and rotor aretheoretically analyzed. A fault simulation test is designed, which proves the theoreticalconclusion correct. Finally, in this thesis, the problems with open-phase protection andbreaker failure protection are discussed, and the improved scheme of protection ispresented. In addition, according to the open-phase operation of actual work, thecorresponsive solutions are presented. |
