Development Of Distributed Busbar Protection Device

Distributed busbar protection is the principal development direction of microbusbar protection. Based on generalizing existing distributed busbar protectiontechnology, a new type method of distributed busbar protection is presented. Thispaper proposes a scheme of distributed busbar protection, which implementsinterconnects of each subsidiary equipment by use of high speed optical fiber net,expecting to break the model of traditional protection, utilizing measurement andinformation of subsidiary protection system installed on primary equipment andsharing the information by use of transmission net. Hardware designing verifiesfeasibility and collectiveness of busbar protection.
