As a strategic and fundamental engineering, South-to-North Water Diversion can solve the water requiring in the north, especially in the drainage area of Yellow River, Yangtze River and The Huai River. It is relation to the sustainable development on economy and environment in the country. The Taierzhuang pumping station, which will be built, located in Zaozhuang city in Shandong province. It is the 7th station in the east part of South-to-North Water Diversion.The block pump room used in The Taierzhuang pumping station can fit the foundation well, it is a common design. As this pump room is used to conserving water, it have more complex stress condition than any others. It is necessary to analysis and research on the dynamic response of it, solve technical problems and give some reasonable advice at last. This conclusion will make pumping station more economical, more reasonable and safer.The Taierzhuang pump station 3-D model is built at first, then the seismic response be acquired. The conclusion is that the foundation is feasible, the vibration of pump room is regular and the structure can stand earthquake at 7 degree.It is difficult to acquire the dynamic frequencies and natural vibrations through the regular methods, because the quality and stiff between pump room and chamber are greatly disparate. In this article, the dynamic assemble method is discovered to solve this problem, which is been proved to be correct by experiment. It is useful and can be promoted.
