On the orientation of the Minimally Invasive Surgical Robotics, this dissertationaims at building a system of the Surgical Simulator to help the surgeon cope with theLaparoscopic Surgery. Based on the course of the surgery, this paper deals with thecourse of constructing the Mechanical Platform of the Surgical Simulator. By use ofphotoelectric sensors we sample the angular displayment of the operating appliance ofthe Simulator, and the signals are processed and transmitted to CPU, which is themain task for the development of the hardwares of the Simulator. Personally, I havedevoted myself to the kinematic principium analysis & the principle design of themechanism, and the course design of signal sampling & processing and transmitting.Firstly, on base of the analysis of the performance that the surgeons behave in thecourse of the Laparoscopic Surgery, we set up the principle of the 4-DOF mechanicalmodel according to the kinematic theory of the rigid body, and the constraintequations were established.Secondly, we designed the parts and the supporter and assembled thesecomponents. At length, the model of the Simulator was constructed to meet the designdemands and improved with the help of the software AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer.Lastly, we developed the photoelectric sensors to sample the variety of theoperating appliance of the Simulator, and the signal, by bridge of the multi-swicher,was processed & transmitted to the Central Processing Unit of the computer. Themicroprocessor bridged the sensor and the computer by the serial asynchroniccommunications. As the primary equipment of the MIS popularization, the system of theLaparoscopic Surgical Simulator can improve the performance level and build up theconfidence of the surgeon. On the other hand, this research will be significative ofimproving the life level and health condition of the common people.
