CS slab structural building system is a new type of energy-saving buildingsystem. CS slab as the surrogate of clay block is a kind of sandwich slab composed offine concrete surface layer and polystyrene core. The temperature effects of CS slabare complex and relate to the application and popularization of the building system. Inthis paper, using the finite element analysis software ANSYS, the temperature effectsof this type of building were studied.According to the heat-transfer differential equation and finite element method,the constant and solar radiation variable temperature fields were calculated, and thetemperature distribution characteristics of CS exterior wall were acquired, which laidthe foundation of making certain temperature loads.Based finite element models, the linear-elastic and elastic-plastic structureanalysis of CS internal and exterior walls and floor slab were made. By means ofcombining quantitative calculate and qualitative analysis, the characters oftemperature stress and temperature deformation of concrete layers, mat reinforcementand declining steel truss connectors, which constitute the CS slab, were researched.The crazing mechanism and cracks distributing of concrete layer were also analyzed.Studies shown that the enhanced means of the reinforced CS exterior wall couldincrease the rigidity of the wall, decrease the temperature stress and prevent cracksforming and developing but the temperature stress would focus at the enhanced part.Researched on the main influential factors of CS slab structural building'stemperature effects, such as length, height, proportion of windows to the walls,cooperation of longitudinal and lateral walls and so on were carried out. Bycomparing with the influencing degree of these factors, the theoretic bases forstructural design were provided.Combined the holistic calculation of experiment CS slab structural buildingunder three different temperature loads, the commonness and specialties oftemperature effects were discussed. In addition, some methods of controllingtemperature cracks in CS slab structural building were suggested.
