Large-span spatial structure is a field that developed very fast in the recent years.Large-span spatial structure has light weight, large flexibility, small damp and lownatural vibration frequency, it is very sensitive to wind load, wind load is veryimportant for large-span spatial structure ang it's an important factor in the structuraldesign. It's necessary to analyze wind-vibration response of such structuresreasonably and to control the vibration effectively. Based on frndamental of Auto-Regressive method, FORTRAN program isworked out to simulate time history curve of wind speed of multipoints which bearspace relativity, deal wind speed with mathematical statistics method, receivedsimulated power spectrum is consistent with aim power spectrum. Then, Awning ofShenyang north station and Olympic palaestra of Tianjin are taken as examples, timehistory of wind speed of their surface points are simulated, translate wing speed intowind load, ANSYS software is used to process transient analysis, the result shows thatthe structures produce biggish vibration under wind load. Lastly, viscous dampers areused to control structural vibration under wind load, the transient analysis resultshows that viscous dampers have certain vibration reducing effects on both nodedisplacement and element stress, is suitable to control wind vibration of large-spanspatial structures.
