Recently, the theory of chiral medium and reciprocity between electromagnetic waves and chiral medium has been a topic research. For the coupled action between electric field and magnetic field in chiralwaveguide, electromagnetic waves present chirality. The applications of chiral medium in anti-radar, antenna engineering, fabricating components of microwaves and millimeter waves are very important.Recently, the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in chirowaveguides have been deeply investigated by Pennsylvania University, US Navy laboratory and so on.Some units inlands are also working at theory and experiment on chiral medium. The dyadic Green's functions are important tools for solving the electromagnetic boundary value problems of chiral media .In using DGF method, the first thing is to obtain the proper form of certain area. But the DGFs obtained now are all in achiral medium. So people are eager to know DGFs in spectral domain and space domain of chiral medium. It is indispensable in studying source radiation. Some literatures discussed electromagnetic vectors and their DGFs in chiral medium. But all had limitation. Some novel methods are studied in this paper. Firstly, the author studies DGFs in chiral medium avoid us ingwave field decomposition and eigenfunction expansion methods.Using this method, we could obtain the dyadic Green's functions without solving eigenvalue and eigenfucntion of the whole system. It is important in studying the theory of electromagnetic field in chiral medium.Besides, this paper pays attention to the applications of chiral medium in electromagnetic engineering and provides two novel methods of rigorous formulations after analyzing and comparing literatures about DGF in chiral medium written by other authors. The two methods are more applicable and valuable in designing components of chiral medium.
