| In the early 1990 s,with the needs of economic and social development,a large number of small and medium-sized towns built water plants to shoulder the task of ensuring the economic development of towns.After more than 20 years of operation,there are some common problems in these small and medium-sized town water plants,such as scattered water intake settings,difficulty in water source protection,susceptibility to sudden water pollution,etc.In addition,due to untimely process update,old equipment,low automation level,backward process and other problems are also common.This paper takes Huangpu Waterworks in Zhongshan City,located in Dawan District of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,as the research object,and devotes itself to studying the optimization scheme of reconstruction and expansion of waterworks in small and medium-sized cities and towns,so as to have certain guiding significance for similar projects.Huangpu Waterworks is located in Huangpu Town,Zhongshan City,which is an industrial town with developed economy,dense population and developed manufacturing industry.There are many industrial zones with more industrial water and a large gap between day and night water supply.Since it was put into operation in 1992,it has been operating safely for 27 years and has made great contributions to local social and economic development.Over the past 20 years,China’s urban water purification treatment technology has been greatly developed.The manufacturing technology of new water pumps,valves,power transformation and distribution equipment has been significantly improved.The national standards and specifications for water supply and drainage,building structure and electrical and other related disciplines have also been revised in large quantities.Higher requirements have been put forward for the reliability,technical safety and water quality stability of urban water plants.Huangpu Town Water Plant was designed and built in the 1990 s,and it can no longer meet the relevant requirements of modern urban water supply plants required by the current water supply and drainage industry.In order to meet the demand of water consumption for social and economic development,the water plant expansion project requires stable and reliable water supply,and conforms to the current situation and trend of technological development of modern urban water supply plants.Based on the comprehensive evaluation of water quality data,operation parameters and existing problems in Huangpu Waterworks,this paper explores a set of scientific and feasible schemes according to similar engineering experience and the actual situation of this project.Specifically,it includes:(1)optimizing the water source for water intake,and selecting a reasonable expansion water treatment process according to the water quality conditions of the new water source;(2)The sludge treatment system has been added from the perspective of environmental protection;(3)The automatic transformation of the water plant has been carried out to improve the management and operation efficiency.The project is aimed at the typical problems faced by the reconstruction and expansion projects of small and medium-sized water plants.The results can be used as a reference for similar water sources and water plants facing similar difficulties,and have better engineering practice value and practical guiding significance. |
