Aviation and spaceflight are active research fields in recent years.To apply fairing simulating fake warhead which aims at the NMD defense system of the USA is a very strategic research orientation in the fields.How to let the figuration and the flight track of the fairing which has been transformed be approximate to the real warhead is the key problem to this technique. This paper mainly describes the intelligence structure designing for the fairing,space kinematics in the transformation process of the fairing simulating fake warhead and the dynamic analysis.First, brief descriptions on the recent research situation of the fake warhead technique,the most frequently used fairing structure and its separation modes are introduced.This paper introduces the basic theory of multibody system dynamics,the Lagrange equations and its analysis principle.It gives an intelligence structure of the fairing for simulating fake warhead and introduces its working principle as well.Second, this paper makes the whole transformation process of fairing simulating fake warhead revert to the space dimension. It makes the space movement analysis detailedly and gives the movement velocity equations of any point on the fairing and the detailed expression of kinematical parameters.Based on the kinematical analysis,it applies the Lagrange equations to the dynamic analysis of fairing simulating fake warhead.The appropriative MATLAB programs which implement the solving process are made for the differential equations which the Runge-Kutta method is applied for solving it.Applying the programs,the computational example simulation is made in different initial conditions and it gives the responding curve of angle displacements and angle velocities.According to the analysis of the computational example result, the result analysis of the velocity direction in the fairing transformation process is made by using the Newton interpolation method. It illuminates that this scheme has feasibility and efficiency.This paper describes the research of kinematical analysis and dynamic analysis of fairing simulating fake warhead and it also provides some feasible ways and methods for the homologous mutative structure multibody system.
