The design of investment casting mould to closed blisk is the key step of manufacturing aeroengine core part, closed blisk using investment casting methold. Because of the miscellaneity in design process and deficiency in design theory, it is hard to design the mould with mormal CAD software, affecting the period of aeroengine manufacture. The structure of dividually designed casting mould to closed blisk is analysed and design experience from experts is summarized in this paper. A CAD software prototype for investment casting mould in dividual design methold to closed blisk is developed to accomplish parameterized deasign, shortening design circle, making closed blisk manufacturing more economical.Investment casting mould to closed blisk is the object for research in this paper. The key technologies about CAD software of investment casting mould in dividual design methold to closed blisk are presented in this paper as below:The structure and design process of investment casting mould in dividual design method to closed blisk is studied in this paper.Parameterized design of investment casting mould in dividual design method to blisk and knowledge-based oriented partition process of closed blisk is given in much detail, including the experience knowledge from experts and the relationship during the related parts of the investment casting mould.Feature information model of investment casting mould to inner and outer rings in closed blisk is presented. It saves both the design data and geometric solid information of the mould.Develop the CAD systems for partitioning mould inner shape solid and designing investment casting mould to inner ring of closed blisk, using the Unigraphics(UG) as developing flatform. Finish the integration of the sub-systems belonged to CAD system of investment casting mould to closed blisk.
