| World Exposition, which functions as a carnival of innovative and eye-catching architectures, provides a stage for the architects all over the world to show their talent. It intensively reveals the current trends and research findings in the architectural fields in every country. Through the observation of this miniature, we could have a more visual and systematic recognization of the panorama of the architecture development in the world..Because of its great influence , the theme of EXPO is always concerned with the display of the emerging and leading technology , and even the common prospect of human beings. This paper chooses the design conceptions of pavillion skin in EXPO as clue, and expatiated on the course, trend and achievement of archtecture skin in EXPO through transverse and lengthways research and comparison. Then the basic methods, and design stretegy of innovative architectonics is disscused.Moreover,it would unfold the venation of architecture in EXPO, and accumulate basic information for the research of 2010 Shanghai EXPO and the design of China pavilions.There are several reasons for combining the skin research of pavillions in EXPO with that of innovative architectonics of contemporary materials. Firstly , it contribute to broaden our scope and enrich our wisdom. Secondly , only by deeper thoughts on the architectonics of skin can we create our own original works.
