Concrete column is a kind of member witch mainly loads axially pressure, sometimes with bending or shearing force too, for example, the columns in frame and compressive haulm etc. Concrete column is very important in structure. In case it is broken, it's possible that the whole structure will collapse. The method of calculating the compressive member is combinated of the results of theory and test in Code for Design of Concrete Structures (GB50010-2002). It adapts to the application of real projects. But this method is also used in the teaching materials of concrete in high schools. Although the form of the formulas is simple and well combines with the real projects, it does not accord with the real state of concrete when the member is pressed. As a chance of building the simple course, this article tries to build the formulas for calculating compressive member by use of the stress-strain curve of concrete. Through the analyse of every phase of the state of compressive member when it is pressed, we can gain some formulas when the member is broken. Then the article compare these formulas with the Code or the test to prove its correctness. This article can be complementarities of the traditional theory of concrete. And it is also for building the simple course of and helping the learner of concrete better comprehending this kind of material. This thesis is made up of four parts. The first part is namely summarize, which has done the simple introduction of the background and study method of this article, and has put forward the research meaning of the subject. The second part is about the analyse of the axial loaded member, which has established the formulas by use of the stress-strain curve of concrete and steel, and has compared them with the Code's.The third part is about the analyse of the eccentrically loaded member, which has established the formulas by use of the stress-strain curve of concrete and steel, and has compared them with the test and the Code's.The forth part is about the background and the technique of building network course, which has done the simple introduction of the background and the techniqueof the network course -, and has showed a part of it.
