Study On Application Sharing In The Web-based Collaborative Design System

Application Sharing Technology is one of the most important research fields in the Web-based Collaborative Design Systems. It is able to convert legacy single-user application into cooperative application without modifying the source code. But there are no any commercial collaborative design system that can meet the needs of the manufacturing business enterprises.This paper studies in depth the key technology of Application Sharing in the Web-based Collaborative Design Systems on the base of collecting broadly the relative research material, which relies on the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National 863 Plan Project of China.In this paper, the present research state in the world of the Application Sharing in the Web-based Collaborative Design Systems is summarized. The structure of the Application Sharing in the Web-based Collaborative Design Systems is put forward. The theory of the mechanism of application sharing, the theory of concurrency control and the method of the application sharing are inquired.On the base of above studies, Application sharing which is adopting the composite application sharing is developed. This system can provide a safe collaborative design environment for application.
