In order to improve the reliability of distributed network terminals, and prevent the whole network from the spread of user-side failures, the thesis provides a solution for dealing with failures on the branch feed lines, and recommends a new type of dividing load switches in this solution.For the purpose of low power consumption on primary switch elements, the composition of magnetic operating mechanism and vacuum circuit breaker are used in our solution;while CMOS techniques and new line testing units are used for decreasing the power needs from secondary intelligent controller. Thereby the old power supplying resources, like power line or accumulators, will be replaced with inner batteries. The inner batteries can work for a long time without maintenance or recharge. This approach is very suitable for switches that have to fit some special requirements, for example, small size and free-maintenance, in distributed network terminals.
