It selected the widely used wind and water slag cooler as researching object,through analyzing many kinds of slag cooler of CFB boilers and according as inland usesituation lately. The method of Numerical Simulation and FLUENT software of CFDwas used to research inner hydrokinetical characteristic. Discrete phase model andEulerian model of FLUENT software was used to research bubble characteristics, trackgranule trochoid and the interaction between gas and solid granule. Bed pressure andflow velocity in different conditions were analyzed especially gas-solid flowcharacteristics that were unclear in these days. In the end, it indicated that this modelpreferably reflected gas-solid flow characteristic in the slag cooler through comparingcalculated results with experimental results. And these researched results would providecredible parameters and optimal select cases for frame design and provide referenceparameters and handling direction for credible working.
