Developing large capacity coal-fired super-critical boiler with high efficiency,cleanness and low investment is the most practical and effective way to solve problems ofour country including short of electricity, low energy utilization efficiency andenvironment pollution. It has been widely paid attention to research the process of boilercombustion and NOx production, and combustion technology of low NOx thoughnumerical simulation. And the result of numerical simulation is used to practical projectand design.The thesis does numerical simulation research though FLUENT business software toQinbei 600MW boiler which is the first national supercritical unit. The temperature field,velocity field and concentration distribution of combustion production are calculted. Withcomparison of experiment a good coincidence between experimental results and numericalsimulation results can be observed. It is proved that the mathematic model and calculationmethod applied in the thesis are suitable for the numerical simulation of swirl boiler. Thisabove results of this thesis can provide important value for optimum design and operationadjustment of pulverized coal boilers.
