With the purpose of improving the energy recovery rate, this paper makes studyand simulation analysis to both of the series regenerative braking system and theparallel regenerative braking system. the result of the simulation shows that theenergy recovery capacity of the series regenerative braking system is obviously betterthan that of the parallel regenerative braking system, and the energy recovery rate canbe raised by about 8%;the braking force distribution strategy this paper designs gainsan advantage over that of the advisor, of which the economy of fuel can be raised by3% or so.This paper,aiming at the series regenerative braking system,designs a controlstrategy on the basis of the optimal control theory and the PI control theory andmakes the simulation analysis to this strategy. The result of the simulation shows thatthe optimal control and PI control method can improve the vehicle brakingperformance better, the system can reach the target braking deceleration in 0.5 secondby use of the optimal control theory;and the system can reach the target brakingdeceleration in 0.4 second by use of PI control theory. The energy recovery rate canbe raised greatly by the optimal control theory. For purpose of realizing the total braking force to be distributed by the seriesmode, this paper proposes a series regenerative braking system for one mild HEV.The system includes two subsystem——the regenerative braking subsystem andhydraulic braking subsystem. This paper aims at the hydraulic braking subsystemlaunches the work of designing, includes theory design, parameters design and systemsimulation analysis. The result of the simulation shows that this design can realize theintention of system pressure regulating better, and the component parameters selectedfor use in the design are comparatively suitable,all the system pressure range, fluxand responding character, etc can realize the performance index of the enactment. This paper analyses and designs the working principle of the experiment systemon the base of the kinematics of regenerative braking system, proposes a set ofexperiment system used for simulating the energy recovery process of HEV under themedium and small braking force, and designs the optimal control method to thisexperiment system and makes simulation analysis to this designed experimentscheme. The simulation study verifies that the designed experiment system cansimulate the process of vehicle regenerative braking, and at the same time the optimalcontrol can improve the vehicle braking performance greatly.
