Sound intensity is vector, so it is meaningful to obtain 3-D sound intensity for identifying noise sources. On the base of the traditional method of sound intensity measurement, a new 3-D sound intensity measurement method is proposed. And the analysis about theory error on sound intensity and localization is particular designed in the sound field with one sound source or a speaker accompanying with 30dB SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) random environment noise. A comprehensive analysis on a sound field with two sound sources is shown and brings forward a method of automatically path search for sound source. On the base of the modal, the structure of the probe and hardware of the system is designed, and the software is written. Taking advantage of technology virtual instrument, a virtual 3-D sound intensity measurement and analysis system is developed. An experiment on a speaker is investigated to validate the validity of the system and the correctness of noise source localization.
