With the development of science and technology, the sound intensity measurementtechnology plays an increasingly important role. Sound intensity is a vector, due to itsdirectivity, so that the demand of the technology of identification of sound source and sounddistribution and dissemination is growing in the civil and military.Considering a wide range of needs and applications of acoustic positioning in the civilmilitary field, in this paper, the measuring methods of sound intensity are studied.Comparison of several methods, select two-microphone cross-spectral method to measuresound intensity. Meanwhile make a comprehensive analysis of measurement error for theDual-microphone cross-spectrum of sound intensity, and have a research on the calibrationexperimental techniques.For data processing of sound intensity, design a processing system based on LabVIEW,the core of the system hardware is sound probe and data acquisition card. Specific to errorfactors in the cross-spectral method of sound probe, put forward some new requirements, theaccuracy of the probe is guaranteed. As for the modularized software of sound intensitymeasurement system, the data acquisition module, the module of sound pressure and soundintensity measurement module are introduced.The results of the research are mainly in: have a in-depth research on the indirectmeasurement of sound intensity method based on the theory of sound intensity measurementand error analysis, and explore the advantages and disadvantages of this method; put forwardthe new requirements for the production of the sound probe through the electromechanicalsimulation analysis of the capacitor microphone and the error analysis of the acoustic probe;have a research on the techniques of calibration, build the platform of the test system based onLabVIEW and simplifies data processing and the hardware structure; in order to improve theprecision, compared with the costly hardware, software can be simple to achieve with some simple calibrated procedures.In the paper, also put forward some suggestions on the further development of soundintensity measurement methods and sound intensity probe.
