Analysis and control of tunnel surrounding rock, which is the key problem in tunnel engineering, have been investigated. The various elements that affect the stability of tunnel surrounding rocks' are discussed, and the surrounding rocks' deformation-destruction principle is analyzed. The max-deformation location on different shape tunnel cross sections are calculated with the finite element method. A discussion is made on the advantage of using surrounding rocks classification method, and it can be concluded the Back Propagation(BP) neural network method is used to evaluate Fu-Xi Tunnel. The construction sequence of the Three-pilot drift method at the entrance of the tunnel is simulated by means of FLAC3D, the development of the plastic zone is described under two sorts of construction sequences. The treatment measures is also presented based on analysis of landslide's causes at the exit of the tunnel.
