| This paper mainly studies on the fill's engineering geological characteristics and the pavement foundation stability of Bo-fu expressway which is located in An-hui province. Beginning with the analysis of geological construct background and characteristics of the area, the engineering general situation is introduced. Based on the arrangement and analysis of test datum, the engineering characteristics of the fill are studied, such as shear strength, compressibility, permeability, mechanical analysis, capillary height etc. Furthermore, general methods that used in slope stability analysis are elaborated from the affect factors of pavement foundation stability, the paper calculates the stability with Sweden slice method. The program is compiled in VB language based on the practice conditions of Bo-fu freeway, then some parameters that ensure the freeway be stable are obtained. Finally, the paper provides some constructive suggestions according to the pavement foundation stability. |
