With the increasing perfect of market economy environment and the deepening reform of electric power system, the improvement of quality of power supply and economic benefit has become the key factor of evaluating whether a electric power corporation can develop prosperously under the market mechanism. The jointly operation of reservoirs can improve the quality and reliability of power supply notably, and strengthen the security of power supply, the economic benefit of the system is also advanced. The optimal operation model for the the hydropower stations is mainly studied in the dissertation.Medium and long-term runoff forecasting methods are explored in the dissertation, it studies the theories and methods of the phase space reconstruction, and summarizes the forecasting methods based on reconstructing phase space of time series. According to the characteristics of runoff of Jinxi Basin in Fujian, the reservoir inflow runoff forecasting model is established by coupling of Phase Space Reconstruction and Neural Network. Case studies show that the broad suitability of the model and its degree of accuracy are satisfactory.Artificial Nural Network(BP network) is introduced into optimal operation of hydropower station group,and the impacts not only to the network training but also to applications results are discussed from the Network structure, training parameters, Training methods and Training samples.In this paper, Both historical output and its sensitive impact factors of power station are used as fault samples to train the BP NN, According to the data of Jinxi Basin in Fujian,a model on the optimal scheduling of hydropower Stations based on Neural Network is established,and the result show the correctness of the model ,it can simulate better and of high precision.To the Practical demand of Hydropower Stations in Cascades,the paper introduces the Sliding Decoupling method on the base of short-term Economic Load Dispatching. Combinating the simulation calculation on output of hydropower stations, short-term economic load dispatching and simulation calculation model of cascaded Hydropower Stations is established,and Its practicability and good simulation are verified by testing in Jinxi Basin .Fujian...
