Since pile driving of standing-pile wharf often exerts much negative impact on the stability of dock slope, the stability of dock slope has been an especially important issue in design and construction of port projects.Currently, the Foundation Norm of Standing-Pile Wharf ( JTJ250—98 ) has not provided the specific calculation formula for the slope stability computation when driving piles, greatly inconvenient for the project design. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the study on the slope stability of the wharf when pile driving, meeting the requirements of project design. This dissertation has studied the negative impact on the slope stability exerted by excess pore water pressure, vibration acceleration, pile driving velocity when driving piles. The distributing law of land stress around pile areas and excess pore water pressure has been analyzed by using the pole pore expansion theory. The attenuation law of vibration acceleration when driving the piles as well as its impact on the slope stability has also been analyzed. Formula for computing safety factor of slope stability while pile driving has been deduced based on the arc sliding theory, with corresponding calculation program promoted, which has provided the theory foundation and computing method for slope stability in practical project. The verification shows that the results by using developed computing method are relatively consistent with the real situations, so the prevention and repairing measures for sliding when driving pills have been concluded in the end.
