Research advances in the fields of stability analysis of slope slide, space prediction and time prediction of slide are reviewed in the paper. A lot of problems and difficulties are putted forward for future studies. On the basis, a series of research for in the Water Supply Reconstruction Project from Dongjiang to Shenzhen are developed. Through the conclusion and analysis for slide's general situation and hydrogeological condition, it can be found that the type of destroy is the loose accumulative formation. The reason for destroy is continuous rainfall and the strength of soil decreases. The effect of QingTang fault is analyzed. Using nonlinear elastoplasticity strength reduction FEM calculated two main sections, found the safety was about 0.8 so that the slope was unstable. The reinforce scheme was designed using portal double row anti-sliding piles and prestress anchor cable. The stability of slope was calculated using SlopeCAD and strength reduction FEM after reinforced, the safety factor is large than 1 and slope is stable.
