In the west of China, with the complex geological conditions and great changes of landform, when highway and railway constructions built in these regions, it will cause a mount of high embankment on slope.Anti-siliding piles have advantages in both retaining and reinforcing landslides therefore it has been widely used in engineerings.This thesis analysis the three different methods which judges slope failure when using strength reduction method to obtain stability safety factor, studies on the stability of soil before anti-sliding piles and the effectiveness of the resistance using Plaxis2D software. At last a anti-sliding pile is calculated through Lizheng software by using the relationship between the stability safety factor and the resistance of the pile under the different strength parameters and different slope angle, and compares the results between Plaxis and Lizheng, some following conclusions are drawn:(1)The stability safety factors of the slope under the three different failure modes are not very different, when the calculation is not convergent, the horizontal displacement of the three control points is basically the same, their horizontal displacement and safety coefficient curve appear obvious inflection point, the safety factor is the same as the inflection point,and has no relation with the location and the soil type.(2)With the increasing of slope angle,the stability of soil before pile is going down, the effectiveness of the resistance and stability safety factor is decreasing.(3) The relationship between the stability safety factor and the resistance of the pile under the different strength parameters and different slope angle is obtained. When the soil in front of the pile is inclined, the soil effectiveness of the resistance with the stability safety factor and the slope into a linear relationship,base on the results of group(Dand(2), for group③④and⑤ when the slope angle is less than 30°,with the increase of the angle, the effectiveness of its resistance decreases slow, and the stability safety factor decreases fast. when the slope angle is greater than 30°,with the increase of the angle, the effectiveness of its resistance decreases fast, and the stability safety factor decreases slow. When the soil is in ground level the effectiveness of its resistance and the stability safety factor are at a high level.(4) When calculating the double row piles mode, the differences on displacement and internal force of the front row pile between two software are in 10%-40%. When calculating the single row piles mode,the differences on maximum bending moment and the tension force of anchor between two software are in 10%, The difference between the maximum shearing force and the horizontal displacement was 34% and 31%, respectively.In both cases, the results of the stability safety factor of soil before anti-sliding piles calculated by Plaxis are essentially in agreement with the safety factor which is adopted in Lizheng software.
