Study On The Relation Of Industry Development And The Evolution Of Urban Spatial Structure In YuLin

The urban spatial structure is formed gradually in the functions of politics, economy, society and culture together for a long time. The industrial development is the key aspect which affects the urban spatial structure. The adjustment and promotion of the industrial structure causes the industrial space change inevitably, the change of industrial space can cause the current capacity, direction, speed of the stream of people, information, material, fund and technology change, in the specific region, the evolution of urban spatial structure is showed. The urban spatial structure can limit or guide the layout of industry, then the development of entire region is influenced, the urban spatial structure and the industrial development have the relation of interaction. The space is resource, it can have the benefit, when the industrial development and the urban spatial structure adapts mutually they can promote the city to develop fast. But the evolution of urban spatial structure is a slow change process which lags behind the development of social and economy. Therefore the urban spatial structure needs the artificial intervention and the guidance, through the optimization and the combination of the spatial structure factor, the urban spatial structure and the industrial development can adapts mutually.Yulin is reputed China "Kuwait" which has the rich mineral resource. Sanctioned by the former State Planning Commission, Yulin become national energy and chemical base which was planned and constructed formally in July, 1998. At present, many projects are launched and put into operation in an all-round way in Yulin, the base has has embryonic forms. The large-scale mining of mineral resource can bring the profound influence to industrial development of Yulin, because the urban spatial structure is the carrier of society and economy. The reflection of Yulin industry change in the space can urge the urban spatial structure inevitably to evolve. Because the mineral resource is exhaustible and non-renewable, in the developing process of resource-type region, the industrial development can display the unique regularity, the urban spatial structure needs unceasing evolution and combination to adapt the industry development.Yulin is the area which concentrates a lot of resources, the most counties have the resources. Simultaneously, Yulin is a frail area of ecology also,in the mining process of mineral resource, the industrial development of Yulin should avoid the phenomenons that the environment is destroyed because of the resources mining and the urban economy development is affected along with the reduction and exhaustion of mineral resource. Under the current developing background, the urban spatial structure of Yulin should adapt the environment characteristic and the industrial development, the evolution of urban spatial structure should have the new pattern.This paper first summarizes and reviews to the theories and the rules of industrial development and the spatial structure, then the paper analyzes the relation of the industrial development and the spatial structure evolution and points out that the urban spatial structure has the different development pattern in different stage of the industrial development. Most counties in Yulin have the mineral resource, therefore, the paper analyzes the relation of industrial development and spatial structure evolution of the resource-type city. The conclusion is obtained that the industrial development and the spatial structure have the different characteristic in different development phase of life cycle for the resource-type city. The paper also discusses the characteristics and questions of industrial development and spatial structure in typical time of the resource-type city. Then, the paper analysises the characteristic of industrial development and the evolution of urban spatial structure in Ruhr district and obtains the corresponding relations of industrial development and the evolution of urban spatial structure of resource-type region. The paper analyzes the evolutional course of industry of Yulin and points out the current characteristics and questions of the industrial structure, the reason why the questions of industrial development exist is analyzed also. Through the above analysis, following several aspects must be paid attention to in later industry developing process of Yulin. 1. The advancement of industrial development for agriculture.2. The extension of the industrial chain, the intensive process of energy and the new pattern of industrialization. 3. The industrial development of traveling, business, technical consultation and so on. In the fast developing process, the industrial development of Yulin must cause the spatial structure change. On the basis of analyzing industry development of Yulin, according to the principle that the city can develop fast when the industrial development and spatial structure adapt each other, the paper constructs out the spatial structure of "one nuclear, three hearts, three axles, and four districts", the tendency of the evolution of the urban spatial structure is forecasted. The paper divides the key cities of Yulin into two big kinds according to the distribution of resources and discusses the development pattern separately. In new period, with constant development of the engineering level and the improvement of the requirement of the life quality for people and traffic condition, the development model of urban spatial structure of the resource-type city in Yulin should be that the center gathers and the peripherydisperses, that is to say, the resource exploitation should be specialized, the resources process should be in industry garden, the service facilities should be concentrated. Mizhi and Wubu have resources, but the developing pattern of urban spatial structure is incompletely same with the resource-type cities in the north of Yulin because of terrain. The pattern of jump development of the urban spatial structure is obvious, and the urban spatial structure will maintain the dispersible shape in the development. But the cities in the south of Yulin which the resources are fewer should adopt the development pattern that the city expands in neighboring area when the water resources and the topographical condition is permitted, The space shows the shape that the central city distributes some organizable groups in periphery. The paper also puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions about how to construct the rational industry and urban spatial structure finally.
