With the development of the society, the advancement of the science technique, and the improvement of people's enjoy level, the concrete strength is no longer the most important factor in estimating concrete quality. Based on improving concrete durability, people begin to have put forward more and more high requirement for the concrete surface quality. The surface quality of concrete pier and abutment is one of the important indexes in quality assessment.During the concrete construction, the defects such as bubble, sand grain, color spot and cracking will appear on the concrete surface. These defects will not only do harm to concrete surface quality and long-term effects, but also destroy durability of concrete project.How to improve concrete surface quality by the root is the special regardful item for the large number of technical engineerings.Based on the test results of raw material, mix design and construction technique, the causes which induce the defects to create are found. Based on the theory of rheology, in the test, many factors were concerned, such as cement paste quantitates, water binder ratio and sand proportion. The relationship of these factors and slump, vibration viscosity factor, yield stress and concrete surface defects was discussed. It can provide theoretical basis for analysing concrete surface defects. Through permeability resistance test, sulfate corrosion test and abrasion resistance test, the relationship of construction techniques, concrete surface quality and durability was reached.At last, the practicality concrete surface quality control measures and construction technology were introduced at length. The preliminary quality principle for evaluating concrete surface quality and assessment methods were set forth.The aim of dissertation is to offer a few theory and systematic construction technique to improve concrete surface quality.
