In the recent ten years.reticulated shell structure is widely developed at home and abroad.The problem of stability becomes obvious increasingly with the more various form of structure and more large span.The hot topic is needed urgently to be resolved.Reticulated shell structure is usually adoptive to large span space structure because of its advantage of dainty sculpt and rational enduring force.Double layer shell structure has favorable ability of spaning.The designment of structure is controlled by intensity.But the structure has a bad vision due to its too many poles and joints.Single layer shell structure has compact advantage due to its few poles and joints,but has a bad spaning ability.The designment of structure is controlled by stability.In large span structure,the advantage of two structure types can be fully developed by combining the partial double reticulated shell.The stability of spaning becomes larger and comedown stability becomes smaller,as the pattern of structure is colorful and dainty.But so far the stability research work of partial double layer reticulated shell is not a lot,and the stability characteristics difference of structure compare greatly,as a result the stability research of partial double layer reticulated shell to have the actual meaning very much.In the paper,geometrical nonlinear research work of partial double reticulated shell is done by disperse supposition of finite element theory.The analysis of partial double reticulated shell and single double reticulated shell have much similitude,such as the method of equilibrium path track and the model of math and dynam.The poles and joints of partial double reticulated shell have a big quantity.and the structure is complicated.Joints are classified rigidity joints(welding ball,direct welding)and pin joints.Therefore including the beam element,the pole element and combining element(on the side is rigidity joint,on the other side is pin joint).The flection characteristic of structure is complicated.The paper made use of finite element software ansys to carry out thestructure nonlinear stability whole process analysis by adopting arc-length method and Newton-Raphson method.It made sure the flection load of structures and carried on the analysis to the structure of comedown stability modes .It pointed out the factor to affect the stability of the structure and put forward some reference opinion to the engineering.The paper only made the plain research of affecting the partial double reticulated shell structure of geometrical nonlinear stability. It is needed to further research to other factors of comedown stability of the structure.
