The cable-stayed bridge with high and low towers and space cable plane is rare in China, the structure is novel and has its own advantages. On the basis of the original design scheme of one bridge, this thesis focuses on scheme design and discussing the problems of the static and dynamic behaviors, and stability characteristic for this style of bridge. Firstly, the author detailedly presents the process of building up an integrated finite element model for the bridge with a large-scale FEM software. Then the structure behaviors under loads of all construction stages and completed bridge stage are computed, especially analyzing the effects of dead loads, prestressing force, shrinkage, creep, changes of global temperature and local temperature. Seismic characteristics is studied by the response spectrum analysis. Therefore, the static, dynamic, and stable behavior and analysing method of cable-stayed bridge with high and low towers and space cable plane are comprehensively understood.
