The calculation of wind-load and controling wind-vibration in high buildings is a new subject branch and high-technology in engineering area. In high-steel-buildings, with the need of higher building functions and the appearance of new light-mass but high-strength constructural materal and with the progress of new construction technology, the rigid and damp of the structure become less and less. As the result, the vibration of structure in wind-load becomes more and more remarkable and even influences the natural useness and structural safety. Therefor, it is very necessary to make some measures to add the damp of structure.In the methods of controling vibration, to fix viscoelastic dampers is the most usual method. For viscoelastic damper,the most usual calculation method is to establish the simple model such as Kelvin, Maxwell and so on and then to assemble the rigid matrix of simple model into total rigid matrix of structure.In this thesis, the calculation of controlling wind-vibration is based upon the real model of viscoelastic damper and this thesis mainly concludes somethings as follows:(1), Based upon the random vibration theory, calculating the power-spectrum-density of the wind-load of the every floor.(2) , Using the viscoelastic material model in ADINA program to simulate the dampers with 3D element of eight nodes.(3) , Establishing two structure models, including damping model and none of damping model.
