The thesis mainly introduces low noise optimization design ofbody structure for rear engine bus. Firstly, it analyses the noisesource in the bus, mainly chassis and body. Secondly, exerting thebasic debasing noise principle of noise deadening, sound insulation,vibration reduction, and sealing and choosing sound absorptionmaterial, it emphases on rear engine compartment. Thirdly, itintroduces low noise optimization design for the other parts of busbody , for example, floor wall,side wall,floor,roof. Finally, itbriefly introduces low noise optimization design assembly of interiortrimming, electric equipment, air conditioner and heater.The thesis describes noise test and compares the results.Therefore, it draws a conclusion that a series of low noiseoptimization design for rear enginebus can debase noise in the bus ,testing the degree of noise is fit for the national standards,andtechnology and economics is workable. It is important that noisedebasing in the bus improves the products competing power forcorpration.
