The energy problem is currently an important aspect of restricting the modern industrial development, and automobile industrial is one of the main sources of the energy consumption, so it is strategically meaning for the studying of automobile energy-saving and reducing automobile energy consumption. For HEV technique is sensitive to drive cycle, drive cycle can affect the capability of HEV in decreasing fuel consumption, as for this problem, on the base of analyzing current HEV control technique, this paper study on diesel engine map optimal calibration for hybrid electric transit bus, On the condition of current technique, depending on the drive cycle, optimal calibrate the diesel engine, make the engine work at highest efficiency field , it can also improve the HEV fuel economy .This paper is supported by the major project on electronic automobile -- Hybrid Electric Vehicle of 863 Program. FAW take on the Hybrid Electric Vehicle of 863 Program "research and development of Jie Fang Hybrid Electric Transit Bus", For this project, this paper bring forward optimal recalibrate the engine used in hybrid electric transit bus.
