Friction and wear generally exist in all mechanical equipments. At present, the main ways to reduce the problems of friction and wear are improving the performance of materials, lubrication, surface treatment, and improving the structural design. From the lubrication and aimed at the moving features of reciprocating slider and combined with tribology, a trigonal slider is designed by author and the equation of oil film thickness and oil film pressure are given based on the calculation. The structure can enable the moving slider in good lubrication in theory, to some extent the problems of friction and wear can be reduced effectively.Friction coefficient is one of the important parameters of tribological characteristics. In most of the tribological design, people simply want to minish the coefficient of friction for the purpose of reducing friction and wear. Aiming at the character of trigonal slider structure, the experiment on coefficients friction are studied by using a reciprocating equipment of friction and the coefficients of friction are compared between the trigonal slider and common slider under the same condition of experiment. It shows that the coefficient of friction of trigonal slider is lower than the common slider under the condition of good lubrication and the parameter "h" is less the coefficient of friction of trigonal slider is lower when the other parameters are unchangeable.
